The inauguration of the new District Governor of District 308-B1 for the fiscal year 2010 - 2011, Lion Dato' Yeow Wah Chin, was held at the Palace of the Golden Horses in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 17th July 2010. Preceeding the inauguration, the District took the opportunity to conduct Schools for Secretaries & Treasurers as well as a Meet the Presidents session by the incoming District Governor in the afternoon.
Several members of our Club, including our President, Secretary and Treasurer, attended the inauguration and schools. The inauguration of the District Governor and his Cabinet was held in the evening where the Guest of Honour for the event was the Yang Di Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan, DYMM Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.
