On 18th October, LC Kuantan City undertook its first Blood Donation Project for the year.
The Blood Donation Drive was organised in a joint-venture with Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM), Kuantan Chapter and took place at the Kuantan Parade shopping complex.
Members of our Club and SGM were on hand on the day to canvass for donors and to provide goody bags for the donors. Our Omega Leos were also on hand to help in the event.
The Project was a success, with 148 bags of blood collected from the public. The generosity of the public was very much appreciated, especially from the seasoned donors.
A big thank you is also in order to the medical personnel, without whose help, this project would not have been able to be carried out.
